🌱 Social Inclusion Green Transition Journey: SoGreen Project Introduction Event Held An event titled “Social Inclusion Green Transition Journey: SoGreen Project Introduction,” organized by Gümüşhane-TTO within the framework of the SoGreen Project, was held in the Karaca Hall of the Dr. Mustafa Çalık Congress and Culture Center. Moderated by Lecturer Dr. Fatih Köroğlu, the program featured comprehensive presentations by experts Mehmet Sezgin and Oğuzhan Şatır on the purpose, scope, and application areas of the SoGreen Project. The presentations emphasized that the green transition process should be considered not only from an environmental perspective but also from social, economic, and regional development perspectives. The program included discussions on the adaptation of local actors to the green transition process, sustainable production models, and the support of socially beneficial projects. Gümüşhane University Rector Prof. Dr. Oktay Yıldız also attended the event and delivered a speech. In his speech, Rector Yıldız drew attention to sustainable development, green transformation, and the role of universities in regional development, emphasizing the importance of projects that prioritize social inclusion. The event, which was followed with great interest by academic staff and public institutions, concluded interactively with a question-and-answer session. Following the event, individual private meetings were held with participants to provide detailed information about the project processes and to discuss potential areas of collaboration.
